ADM Foyer on social media as appetizer for new ADM working group
For the last event of the working year 2009-2010, the ever-enthusiastic Koen Blanquart (Agyx) took the audience in the SAP Lounge on a trip through the wonderful and adventurous world of social media.
Maybe we don’t want them but – and this includes the professional world – we cannot live without them. Social media may provide many (business) opportunities but they also present as many threats. So it is very important to know how to deal with these new media and to use them to benefit the company: if you can’t beat it, join it! For once the audience was asked NOT to switch off their phones but instead to Twitter along – tweets that were projected onto a screen.

A specific working group on how to use social media and exchange user information will start in autumn 2010. More details on this working group will follow at the beginning of September.
